ROUTE:   

Day 1.  Arrival Heraklion. Reception at the port or airport. Transportation to the hotel. (When arrival is early morning we can do a biking tour. When is later in the day we do a cultural tour and may be a visit to the palace of Knossos. We can decide together as soon as you have your flight details). Accommodation Heraklion. (Lunch – Dinner)

Day 2. By car transportation to the village of Archanes. Start from Archanes we do a nice cycle through the countryside of the region ending at the city of Heraklion Accommodation Heraklion. (Breakfast – Lunch – Dinner)

Day 4. Start from Heraklion (0) – Marathos – Damasta – Drossia Accommodation Drossia (Breakfast – Lunch – Dinner) 38km (hard)

Day 5. Drossia – Mourtzana – Perama – Rethymnon. An easy flat cycle.Accommodation Rethymnon . (Breakfast – Lunch – Dinner) 49km

Day 6.  Keep going west following side way roads through country side and beautiful small villages. Accommodation Argyroupolis . (Breakfast – Lunch – Dinner) 33km

Day 7. Keep going west following side way roads through country side and beautiful small villages. A 30 cycling and ending the cycle tour by car back to the city of Heraklionwhere we accommodate.(Breakfast – Lunch – Dinner) 30km

Day 8. Breakfast at the hotel. END

Terms & Conditions

RESERVATIONS

All trip costs listed are per person, based on double occupancy, airfare not included. To reserve, first contact by email then return with a deposit of 30% per person. The remaining balance will be due 60 days before trip departure. After receipt of final payment, you will receive a comprehensive pre-departure packet. This information will contain historical and cultural overviews of the region you will be visiting, hotel listings, ferry tickets, vouchers, daily highlights, suggested readings, pre-trip planning and more.

ACCOMMODATION

Tour prices include accommodations in fine, high standard services hotels, and include breakfast and ALL MEALS as per schedule. Prices are based on double occupancy. Limited single occupancy is available for a $480 supplement. If you are travelling alone and wish to share a room, we will pair you with another same gender tour participant. If we are unable to find a roommate, the single rate will apply.

To reserve, please CONTACT FIRST BY EMAIL, and then return with a deposit of 30% of trip cost per person to the address below. Deposit can be given through bank or your credit card. Feel free to call us to discuss the itinerary in detail and to answer any of your questions.

CANCELLATION POLICY 

In the event you need to cancel, the following apply: 

- 91 days or more: 30% Refund of deposit. 

-61-90 days: 50% refund of trip cost 

-31-60 days: 25% refund of trip cost 

-0-30 days: 0 % refund of trip cost
